Key largo, Montego baby why dont we go...

Below is a picture of the worst picture I have ever taken. The worst.

Now, below is what I see as the symbolic definition of my relationship with Maggie. This is titled "Matt in stride on the beach, but really Maggie's face".

I went to Key Largo! With a girl! All of this is in early October. Apparently I had a really good time with Maggie in Dayton, Ohio (for the wedding), so we went off to Key Largo! Why go to each others' respective cities, which were cold, when you have the sun and sand but a flight away!? We flew into Miami, drove down the Keys, spent a long weekend soaking up the sun, and almost missed our flight coming home. Literally, I flew back to D.C. in a wet bathing suit. My mother saw me on the side of the terminal in D.C. looking like a wet rat and almost didn't stop. I obviously didn't want to leave! Here are a few pictures of things we did and saw:
Maggie snorkling. She looks a lot better than I did doing the exact same activity.

What I couldn't show here in this exquisite example of coral was the barracuda that was hovering about 20 feet away. I would not have seen this barracuda, until I was promptly kicked in the head by a girl's flipper (pictured above) as she screamed and splashed away, leaving me to fend for myself. That's called loyalty.

This is the horizon view from our resort. Also, on the last day, we found noodles. Many noodles. I have memories of Maggie stealing them from little children but I can't prove that. I thought about sleeping wrapped in a noodle one night but decided against it.

Here is the boat we road on. I felt pretty proud because of the 12 or so people on the boat, Maggie and I were 2 of about 4 that did not hurl overboard. The sounds of a German family (old large dude in speedo) groaning whilst I'm trying to listen for snorkling directions was, well, magical. Also, we are damn photogenic. Disregard "worst picture ever taken" at the top of the page.

This is Jesus in the water. I would say that is me swimming beside Jesus, touching the hand of the son of God, but that would be a lie. And, Jesus knows you're lying. I thought Jesus could walk on top of water? No one talks about what a good swimmer the guy is! Watch out Phelps! That joke, with my addition, was told about 10 times on our boat. The same boat people were getting sea-sick off.

I like these two hammock photos because it shows how Maggie is both attracted to my face, and also my feet. I've never been a foot guy but maybe I should look into getting a pedicure. Future foot model?

Speaking of models, this one's going in my portfolio. The embarrassing thing is that I thought to myself, "I think this picture might turn out great!" Just move on to the lovely lady in the hammock. Much easier on the eyes.

"When finding the restaurant, look for the mermaid." We found her and all her glory.

In all seriousness, Key Largo was great. This picture was taken in Miami, about an hour before we were supposed to fly out. It doesn't look it, but we literally sprinted to our car from this position. This looks like a post-card!

Last few months...a recap...

So, I figured out pretty early that I'm pretty bad at this blogging thing. That being said, even though my blog has stopped, my life has not. Though dead to the internet world, the real world has been quite good to me. Anyway, I thought I'd post a few pictures of things that have happened over the past few months. The first post here is of one of my first good friends to get that ball and chain perminantly locked (unless he becomes a statistic). John Cull's wedding in early September 2008! Woo! That's Dr. Cull to you. Worst Pledge Cull ever to me. Unfortunately, you'll notice no actual photos of the groom and me. Well, one, I didn't marry him, and two, I'm sure he was having wedding night relations with his wife, Liz. Congrats! Here's Adam and me. You can tell us apart because he's wearing a jacket.

Here are two pictures. In both, I am rocking out. Lame! But, in the second, a girl has come between myself and a friend. You'll see her face pop up in a few posts. Will is serenading her with Journey songs and wooing her with beer. My date, Will! My date!

Later, I got the girl, Maggie, back with my incredible dance moves. Dance moves > singing voice? My gang signs change throughout the night.

This is the most interesting picture of the night. I look like I'm stunned to be in this photo. Ryan and Will = normal. I'm wide-eyed. Great ending to a wonderful wedding. Glad I took pictures because I remember very little.
